Northamptonshire Expansion - 2010 Diary 16 Jul 2010 - WNJPU publishes WNJS Planning Committee Agenda for 26th July 2010 meeting Initial Review of Agenda The full Agenda published by the WNJPU is a composite 331 page document comprising:
If you wish to view similar details as individual documents, then you should access these on the Northampton Borough Council website ( see entries on this Northamptonshire Expansion - 2010 Diary, dated 19th July 2010 ).
Introduction The four page introduction to the analysis provides general information on the background to the Emergent Joint Core Strategy, the public consultation, and the analysis of the resulting responses. It states that:
It is a requirement of the planning process that these representations are 'received and noted' by the WNJPSP Committee, and the analysis is therefore provided in the agenda and recommended for formal acceptance.
Initial Review of WN Emergent Joint Core Strategy Consultation Responses The responses are summarised in groups under the 56 questions listed in the consultation. The report indicates that the summary contains not all, but significant (Key) issues. However, there is no indication of how many individuals or organisations raised the same issue. ( Note that the introduction refers to 52 questions, the original number, but these were increased to 56 questions during the consultation, and therefore does raise some concerns ). All the responses can be individually accessed on the WNJPU website ( see entry on this Expansion Diary, dated 5th June 2010 ). Although all of the questions raise issues that affect us, there are some questions that are of more interest to us in Brafield on the Green and surrounding areas. This is particularly the case with Question 28. Question 28 – Do you support the development of the Preferred Option ‘Northampton South East’? The summary contains:
It is natural that there are more objections than supporting comments, but the points raised under objections do appear to be more significant than those supporting the question. For example, a number of the supporting points are generalised, and are not significant to this question or this area.
The points specific to this question are viewable on physical pages 183 to 196 (pages numbered 155 to 168). Note also, if you are searching documents, that 'Brafield' is listed as 'Bradfield' within objection point 14.
