London Marathon

No, not strictly a true local event, but Marion Thom, from the village, will be competing in the London Marathon raising money for charity.

Marion is training hard to take part in the London Marathon on 25th April 2010, raising money for

SENSE - the National Deaf / Blind Association

It support and campaigns for children and adults who are deaf and/or blind and provides expert advice, information and specialist services to deaf / blind people, their families and carers.
